My jelly-cam could raise the dead... not quite.


So I was just browsing through DA art to see whats out there, comment on some stuff, maybe get some ideas for my next tattoo when something started to disturb me:

Every page I looked at contained at least one image of a woman's left eye. I know that these are valid photographic images, but it seems to me that if so many are being taken at once they make each other a cliche image. Be it that I myself take lots of flower photographs and these are also poular photos to take I still don't flood an art site with them.

Did I miss something on tv, radio, internet, pigeon mail, office memo, powerline enduced preprogramed government big brother plot dream, or handwritten letter that announced the strange and sudden popularity of these pictures?

I know my rankings can seem it a bit crazy, and that is becuase they are. But really I mean how many of these can happen before some photographer grabs his camera and thinks: "Maybe we've taken enough of these for now". You know what I would love to see become a photo-fad? Parrots. Yeah parrots, big one, little ones, red feathers, blue feathers. I don't care just something other than chiks' eyes.

Oh well, back to my lomography...
